Well, we’ve all recoveered (almost) from the incredibly exciting first event at the zMax Dragway – the NHRA Carolinas Nationals. So what could we do to further soothe our jangled nerves? How about curling up with a good book, then enjoying the play? That’s just what you can do this fall, as the entire community reads “Walking Across Egypt” by Clyde Edgerton, and the Old Courthouse Theatre puts on a fabulous performance of the play version from Sept 25-Oct 5.
If you’re a fan of Edgerton’s book, there are a great variety of events this month. The highlight will be a performance by Edgerton with his band, the Rank Strangers, on Saturday, Oct 4 at the Davis Theatre in the Historic Cabarrus County Courthouse (not to be confused with the Old Courthhouse Theatre).
